Acthéa is a European university festival of theater, music and street arts. For the occasion, the city of Albi is transformed into a giant theater, offering a veritable cultural fireworks display. The festivities kick off with a four-day festivalat the Théâtre des Lices, where two plays are staged each evening. A dozen French and foreign troupes compete. This is followed by three days of completely free off-festival , featuring a succession of street arts performances, from clowns to acrobats.
