THE COLLEGIATE CHURCH AND THE CLOISTER OF SAINT-SALVI
Splendid vestige surmounted by an astonishing bell tower-watchtower presenting a complex architecture in Albi.
This splendid vestige is surmounted by an astonishing watchtower and remains one of the oldest buildings in Albi. It presents a complex architecture, testimony of a long series of construction campaigns where Romanesque and Gothic are mixed. Of the cloister, built from 1270 and mutilated during the Revolution, only the southern gallery remains today. It also has Romanesque forms (round arches) and Gothic elements (capitals, pillar decorations).

Petit cloître incomplet agrémenté d'un beau jardin fleuri et calme.
