A happy coincidence led Marie-France Dequin to settle in the village of Penne-d'Agenais almost 40 years ago. "I've blossomed here," she admits with a broad smile. She has built up a loyal local clientele, supplemented by many visiting holidaymakers. She works with vegetable-tanned leather, sourced from French and Italian tanneries, for belts and other products. She also makes a variety of leather goods, including handbags and purses. Her talent and kindness make her a remarkable person.
