THE CHURCH OF SAINT-PIERRE
The view from the terrace of the beautiful church tower is worth a stop. The interior of the building was restored in 2010 and 2011.
Peyrière is a small village located near Miramont-de-Guyenne. The church square is named after Angéline Beausoleil, the benefactress who financed the building of a very nice slender bell tower at the end of the 19th century. A hundred or so steps will lead you to the terrace from where you can enjoy a view of the surrounding countryside. Two free panoramic binoculars and an orientation table are available. Also worth seeing is the restored interior of the church and the old wash house basin at the end of a path on the side of the cemetery.
