The silhouette of this astonishing building attracts the eyes of the strollers. Its name comes from Adelaide, daughter of Constance of France and Raymond V, Count of Toulouse. The countess, married to Raymond-Roger Trencavel, held a court of love there and brought together the greatest troubadours of her time. This masterpiece of Romanesque civil architecture can be admired during visits and numerous exhibitions.
