ÉGLISE SAINT-JEAN-BAPTISTE
A Gothic church steeped in history, with remarkable interior decorations, including fantastic animals.
In the 12th century, the inhabitants had to protect themselves from invasions. Without the protection of a fortified castle, the church appeared to be the safest site, hence its fortification and that of the cemetery. In the heart of the village, the building has been redesigned in the Gothic style, and features an original layout with its bell tower-wall parallel to the nave, where a pine tree grows. The interior decoration is remarkable for its fantastical animals and several instances of the lamb.
