On the superb Place des Arcades, lined with 17th century residences, Marc Desforges' inn offers a rustic décor. Since 1994, its local cuisine has satisfied all taste buds: game (including one speciality: wild boar stew), Roquefort salad, duck foie gras, lamb skewers with Gaillac red wine sauce, duck breast with black cherry sauce and Espelette pepper, and delicious homemade desserts. The meal is hearty and carefully presented; the ingredients are served separately in two dishes, to adapt the dosage to the guests' preferences. The terrace part overlooks a square that is closed to vehicles, which allows you to enjoy its medieval and Renaissance architecture, and to write your postcards, bought on site, in front of a good coffee!

Des vrais pros de la restauration pour un rapport qualité prix très raisonnable.
Un seul regret, ne pas avoir pu renouveler cette belle expérience avant de quitter la région.

Fantastic restaurant in the square of a beautiful medieval walled town. Food was lovely and reasonably priced. Friendly service. Evening light show was a real bonus. Well worth a visit and a wander around.
