NOTRE-DAME DE L'ASSOMPTION CHURCH
Church whose construction dates back to 1300, with a polychrome Pietà and the Cross of the Counts of Armagnac, gemmed reliquary cross
A first church was built in 1300 on the present site. Enlarged in the 14th century, its bell tower and portal were not built until the 15th century. Inside, you can find a polychrome stone statue, a 15th century Pietà and especially, in the treasure room, the "Cross of the Counts of Armagnac", a masterpiece of 13th century religious goldsmithing with more than 354 precious and semi-precious stones. It is the object of an important devotion.
