REGAIN
Regain is a manufacturer of sweaters, custom-made uniforms and safety clothing. It dresses soldiers of the army, the navy, the fire brigade.... Its sweaters and scarves have received the Origine France Garantie certification.
History. The story of Regain began in 1973 at the foot of the Pic de Nore, in the Tarn. It was here that François Brunas, a knitting machine specialist, created his first knitting workshop. It is the full development of the textile industry in the Midi-Pyrénées and in particular in the Tarn. In the 1980s, the factory integrated manufacturing. The workshops work in the manufacture of sweaters for major fashion brands such as Yves Saint Laurent, Pierre Cardin and Givenchy. In 1987, François Brunas made a turn towards professional clothing and made the first sweater for the national gendarmerie for a market of 20,000 pieces per year. Then she created the emblematic firefighter's sweater, which is still in use today. Regain's know-how is quickly recognized by these very demanding markets in terms of quality. It is growing rapidly and manufactures for prestigious customers such as fire brigades, armies and police. In 1993, Laurent Brunas, son of the founder, extended Regain's offer on technical products that meet European standards: fire protection, thermal protection, etc. In 2013, the manufactory diversified by creating several high-end ready-to-wear collections that will give birth to the Pic de Nore brand in 2014.
