Castres is a town in the Midi-Pyrénées region of France. For newcomers to the town, the Association Accueil des Villes Françaises (AVF) de Castres offers a warm welcome and practical information. The AVF also organizes a variety of cultural events, outings, sports and festive activities for its members. For example, it recently organized a hike to Massaguel and a visit to the Missegle workshop. The Castres AVF also organizes trips, such as the one to Italy to visit the Amalfi Coast.
