THE FORMER EPISCOPAL PALACE
The palace, built between 1669 and 1673, serves as the backdrop for the town hall and the Goya museum, and is listed as a Historic Monument.
Built in the 17th century at the request of Monseigneur de Tubœuf, the Episcopal Palace has been classified as a historical monument since 1927. Built between 1669 and 1673 by Jules Hardouin-Mansart, it is now the setting for the City Hall and the Goya Museum. You always have the possibility to stop in its magnificent garden registered in the supplementary inventory of the Historic Monuments. Designed by Le Nôtre, Louis XIV's landscape gardener, it is worth a visit.
