15th century parish church, the interior of which shows the procession boat, as the town was once a port
The parish church of Notre-Dame de Port-Sainte-Marie is, as its name suggests, dedicated to the Virgin Mary. It dates from the 15th century. Inside, you can admire the procession boat, as the town was once a port. On the other hand, there were two brotherhoods of Penitents in the city (the white and the gray), their old procession sticks are exposed in the church of Our Lady. as well as the procession sticks of the old brotherhoods of Penitents. Also to be seen in Port-Sainte-Marie, the churches of the Templars and of Saint-Julien.
