RUINE DU TIERKIRCHLEIN
Go there and contact
This ruin is an ancient chapel, where offerings were burnt to ward off evil spirits.
In its day, this 17th-century chapel was huge! Today's ruins don't pay homage to it, but they are nonetheless interesting from a historical and architectural point of view. The Tierkirchlein was originally a place of pilgrimage for animals, where farmers took their livestock to avoid contagious and fatal diseases. Legend has it that the wild animals of the forest built it themselves. Offerings were made and burned once a year to ward off evil spirits.
