Built in the 17th century on a plan inspired by the Villa d'Este, the Château de Foucaud houses the Museum of Fine Arts. The 4-hectare park is freely accessible and blends Italian and French styles, with perspectives, terraces, fountains, an orangery and a cool pavilion. It is one of the largest 18th century gardens in the South of France and one of the few to have retained its original layout. It remains one of the most beautiful sites in the city, with its rose garden.
