Among the guided tours offered by the Tourist Office, that of the costumed leather worker is particularly original. Follow the leather worker at the end of his working day in this former leatherworking stronghold. He'll tell you all about the leather capital's industry at the beginning of the 20th century, and the skills and heritage on the banks of the Dadou. You'll learn that his job was to prepare sheepskins and other delicate skins. He only worked with small sizes, unlike the tanner who processed large cow hides.
