Museum presenting the traditional know-how of the textile industry from the century to the present day

In the buildings of the former Armengaud textile factory dating from 1880, this space presents the traditional know-how of the textile industry from the 19th century to the present day. We discover the production line, from the thread to the fabric. Demonstrations on sample frames and looms, old equipment still in operation, temporary exhibitions and creative workshops complete the tour through the discovery of weaving techniques from around the world.

Très belle découverte ! Afin de mieux comprendre le passé de la ville et le monde très intéressant du textile, il est impératif de faire une visite guidée. Notre guide est une passionnée qui vous embarque dans cet univers de façon très pédagogique. Les machines et les techniques sont surprenantes. Toute la famille (enfant, parents et grands-parents) a adoré ! Merci !
