PLUMP SPINNING
The Ramond spinning mill takes us back to the Industrial Revolution
Listed in the supplementary inventory of historical monuments, the Ramond spinning mill devotes its walls to old-fashioned spinning techniques. This tall building, which used to be a workshop, allows you to project yourself back to the time of the Industrial Revolution, notably thanks to the presence of its machines dating from 1841, still in working order. The whole works with a system of pulleys and belts on two levels. The Drousse, the reunifier, the other cards and the spinning machines are still working so that the wool, which arrives untreated, gradually becomes yarn.
