From the village of Pujols to Sardinia, there is only one step that you can take while eating in this restaurant.

A little corner of Sardinia in the heart of Lot-et-Garonne. At the "Villa Smeralda", discover generous, fragrant Mediterranean cuisine on a lovely, leafy patio. Eric Haziza was keen to reinforce the culinary identity of his establishment by hiring a Sardinian chef, Carlo Dindi. The menu features many specialties: Italian charcuterie board or burrata and tomato tartar as a prelude, Bolognese linguine, squid tentacles and fregola sarda, coffee tiramisu for dessert. Bon appétit... or rather, buon appetito!

Nous étions des fidèles de ce restaurant depuis bien des années. Malheureusement depuis le récent changement de chef, c'est la grosse déception. Moins de choix, cuisine très bof (fade et pas copieux) et prix en très forte augmentation. C'est tellement dommage, c'était une des meilleures tables du coin. Le cadre reste charmant et le personnel très agréable mais nous ne reviendrons plus. On regrettera les salades d'épinards exquises et les ravioles succulentes pendant longtemps...
