ST. RÉMY'S COLLEGE
The Collégiale Saint-Rémy de Lautrec, a majestic building with a strong, timeless character.
Classified as a historical monument, the Collegiate Church of Saint-Rémy is the oldest building in Lautrec. The church, which was named Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix when it was built in 1394, has retained its strong and majestic character over the centuries. Its features and its title of "collegiate church", the building gained it following the installation of a chapter of canons, i.e. a college of clerics. Visitors will take the time to admire its bell tower topped by a four-sided spire, its numerous trompe l'oeil paintings and its restored altarpiece.
