This ashlar structure has witnessed the development and transformation of Lavaur. Built in the 18th century, this masonry bridge is emblematic of its time. Crossing the Agout River, it has a span of 48.75 meters, making it the longest spanning masonry structure in the world, until the installation of the Chester Arch in 1833. Its typical characteristics and history have allowed this bridge to be listed as a historic monument since 1960. The cedars shading its avenues are also listed.
