On the banks of Lac des Montagnès, 7 km from Mazamet, this small restaurant is a haven of freshness and calm. Lunch is served on a terrace overlooking the lake, under ash, acacia and larch trees. A small salad as a starter followed by a plate of tagliatelle with a dozen grilled sardines, or a whole grilled duck breast with honey sauce and home fries: it's simple and good. The desserts are not to be outdone: we melt for the citrus and nougat entremets or the floating island, which takes us back to childhood.
