The Bajén Vega Museum, housed in a residence, displays paintings by two Spanish artists who were exiled to the Tarn region
Housed in a 15th-century mansion, this museum presents the paintings of two Spanish artists exiled to the Tarn: Francisco Bajén and his wife Martine Vega. The mansion houses some 150 canvases retracing 40 years of work and art. Upstairs and in the round tower, you'll discover the worlds of the "Painter of Silence" and the "Tamer of Colors", with works in a wide variety of media. Each year, the presentation of the collections varies, following the theme of the Rendez-vous culturels départementaux, allowing for a rotation of the collections. In 2024, the theme is "When sport and culture team up".
