If Montans is mainly known as a great centre of Gallo-Roman pottery, this former crossroads of potters also has a beautiful winegrower's history. History attests in particular to the presence of a two thousand year old wine-growing activity on this estate. Today, this family business continues the tradition and has been passed on from father to son for several generations. Labelled Terra Vitis, the production is run by independent winegrowers who are proud of their roots and attached to their terroir. Today, they work on two terroirs of the Gaillac appellation and are making progress in order to offer 100% AOC Gaillac wines, essentially made from the old grape varieties of the appellation.
