Living conservatory of the country's memory and open-air museum, ideal for families to discover in Nages
A former 19th century farm, the Maison de Payrac has become a living conservatory of the country's memory and an ideal open-air museum for families to discover. On the programme: workshops, walks, demonstrations on wool, wood and hay, tastings of fresh bread and grilled meat made by local farmers... A 2 km discovery trail unveils a wet meadow, a dry moor, an oak grove, a beech grove, a broom-roofed sheepfold, a shepherd's hut, a pesquier, an arboretum and even a menhir.
