Municipal museum in Rabastens, presenting archaeology, mosaics, sacred art, sculpture and painting.

Housed in a 17th century mansion, this municipal museum contains several worlds: archaeology, mosaics, sacred art, embroidery, sculpture, painting... If its ground floor is mainly devoted to the potteries of Giroussens, another room gathers masterpieces of carpentry of the Companion Roger Bellegarde. A neighbouring space houses the works of Jane Atché, a poster artist from the end of the 19th century and a native of Rabastens.

Un superbe endroit que ce musée dédié à plusieurs collections passant de l'archéologie, peintures, gravures, céramique, dessins. De plus en ce moment une très intéressante exposition sur le Japon, plus précisément sur l'art de se vêtir avec le kimono et ses différents accessoires. L'origami figure en bonne position. A visiter pour la modique somme de 2,50 euros.
