The Souterrain du Castela, a site comprising four rooms excavated with iron picks in Saint-Sulpice.
Particularly well preserved, the Castela underground is 142 metres long. It is the only site of its kind open to visitors in the Tarn. Its architecture consists of four rooms dug out with iron picks, which were used as storerooms. The guide will reveal all the secrets of the site, including the hidden ear canal that was once used to say the password, as well as other special features such as the grain silos and water basins. For the record, it was here that "the forger of Saint-Sulpice" took refuge in 1418.
