Since 1960 in his workshop in the Tarn, the glass painter and sculptor Jean-Claude Izard has been making creations for contemporary and ancient architecture. In 2004, he introduced his daughter Cécile, a mosaicist, to the technique of stained glass in broken glass slabs. As a family, they work on creations for private homes and public spaces, working with slabs of shattered glass, marble and smalt mosaics and creating sculptures on wood and stone.
