FORMER TEMPLAR COMMANDERY
Former commandery of the Templars, classified as a historical monument, welcomes theater groups all year round.
Listed as a Historic Monument in 1909, this former Templar commandery stands on an isolated hillock in the Bastides region. The rural stronghold was founded in 1140 when the knights of Penne donated land to Pierre Humbert. There were only about ten knights, the rest having settled in various outbuildings in the region (Montricoux, Cahors...). Today, the commandery welcomes theatre groups in residence all year round.
