The "formier" is the craftsman who carves blocks of lime wood used as moulds to make all types of hats. This craft is rare and classified by Unesco. The workshop is located in the historic centre of Caussade, in an atypical house dating from the 13th century. Didier Laforest works with wood. Mr Laforest m'a accueilli un jour de fermeture. Son métier de formier dont il est l' un des derniers de France et sa passion des chapeaux font de lui, une personne atypique que j' admire.
Allez a Caucasse et sans passer chez Hats blocks est une erreur.
Pour ma part, j aurais bien pris pension chez lui ????
