A former Cistercian abbey with a gothic chapter house, one of the most important centers of contemporary art in Occitania.
From Cornusson up the Seye valley, a magnificent architectural ensemble comes into view. This former Cistercian abbey, founded in 1144, was saved from ruin by two contemporary art enthusiasts. The complex comprises a church, a cellar, a Gothic chapter house and an imposing abbey dwelling dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. Now owned by the Centre des Monuments Nationaux, the abbey is one of Occitanie's most important centers for contemporary art.
