CHURCH OF ST. BARTHOLOMEW
Visit of a church located in the upper town, in a typical example of medieval architecture, with furniture from the past
The church of Saint Bartholomew is unusually situated perpendicular to the Place des Cornières in the upper town, which is a typical example of medieval architecture. Of the original architecture of the building, only the first bay and the portal to the square remain. However, this church contains interesting furnishings: stalls, paintings, baroque altarpiece, painted panelling attributed to Ingres and his pupils. It is really worth the detour and its visit allows you to touch the history of the town and of art.
