The Espace Prosper-Mérimée houses a permanent exhibition on the Moissac scriptorium and medieval music
Opened in July 2007, the permanent exhibition on the scriptorium of Moissac (the place where the monks worked on the decoration and ornamentation of the works) and medieval music (audition and presentation of the Organum ensemble), is located in the Espace Prosper-Mérimée, as is the Romanesque art centre. You will find digitized manuscripts and many of them have been studied from every angle by international researchers, but to see them in reality gives an incomparable feeling of admiration and respect.
