Monclar-de-Quercy is a small rural town in the Bas Quercy region, offering a picturesque and colourful landscape. Although Monclar-de-Quercy has a history as a fortified town, few vestiges of this era remain. However, Monclar-de-Quercy boasts a charming old village overlooking the surrounding countryside, renowned for its local produce. The town also boasts a leisure centre called "Les 3 Lacs", which includes swimming pools, a swimming lake with a slide and pentogliss, a white sand beach, mini-golf and many other activities. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy sailing, mountain biking, horse riding, rugby, soccer, tennis and pétanque. The area around Monclar-de-Quercy also offers great opportunities for hiking through the Quercy Vert, as well as discovering medieval villages and historic towns.
