LES 12 TRAVAUX D'HENRIETTE
Here's an innovative digital experience you can enjoy from the comfort of your own home! "Les 12 travaux d'Henriette" is an interactive virtual tour of the Château de Longues-Aygues in Nègrepelisse, a heritage site closed to visitors. This tour immerses you in the life of Henriette Vaïsse-Cibiel, a visionary woman who transformed her château into a veritable laboratory of modernity in the early 20th century. Muse to sculptor Antoine Bourdelle, she was a strong, forward-thinking woman who oversaw the renovation of her château, incorporating the latest technical and artistic innovations of her time. The Château de Longues-Aygues became a model of modernity thanks to Henriette's bold choices. It was equipped with 12 inventions, including central heating, electricity, modern bathrooms and even reinforced concrete - revolutionary features for the time! Thanks to digital technology, explore the château in 360°, discover the different rooms and learn more about Henriette's life and the innovations she implemented, thanks to a young Montalban architect, Germain Olivier. Henriette's choices have greatly influenced our modern way of life and comfort! The Occitanie region is funding the project, which is being implemented by Extra Art, a company specializing in the digital enhancement of heritage. This initiative is proposed by the Archives Départementales and the Inventaire du Patrimoine du Pays Midi-Quercy.
