The Bès is deserved. The road rises on the Causse, then winds in the bocage, crossing the countless roads lined with limestone so propitious for the walk. The farm of the Bès de Quercy, massive with its stone buildings, is found in a clearing in the middle of caussenards oaks. The ruminent cows around, total immersion in the austère rural of this harsh earth. A world that gradually falls apart, in great danger. Denise and Joseph have entrusted the exploitation to children, but they handle the warmth and simplicity of hosts. A rustic cottage to feel (for how long…) the real breath of the country.
