ABBEY OF SAINT-MAURIN AND ETHNOGRAPHIC MUSEUM
Romanesque abbey, a Cluniac site, with an ethnographic museum retracing the life of the village before the 14-18 war.
The abbey of Romanesque style preserves today only its bell tower and a part of the cloister and the heart. The wars of religion have taken their toll on its former glory, which can be discovered thanks to a model. The building has retained a "je-ne-sais-quoi" that leaves the visitor speechless. The abbey is a Cluniac site with a path of the same name linking Moissac to Agen via Saint-Maurin. The ethnographic museum, interesting, has for subject the life of the village before the war of 14-18.
