LA MAISON DE LADOUCETTE
The castle of Avelin has a rich history. The castle as we know it today is none other than the third to be established in this 70 ha park. It dates back to 1835, while the first known house on this site dates back to the 16th-17th centuries. Since 2006, Château d'Avelin has been a private residence belonging to Baron Patrick de la Doucette. The latter decided to turn the château into a museum dedicated to the wine and the vines of the different estates he owns throughout France: visits to the cellars, tastings, buying bottles. Exceptional wines in an exceptional place.
