A festive and convivial event whose tradition goes back to 1853! For 5 days, come and experience a unique moment in Bailleul.
Organized by the Société philanthropique de Bailleul, the Bailleul Carnival has been a tradition since 1853! For five days around Mardi Gras, the town is transformed into an enormous, life-size outlet. People dress up, have fun, sing at the top of their lungs, dance, laugh... Festive atmosphere guaranteed! Among the highlights of this carnival are the float processions, the outings of the giant Gargantua, the mask and intrigue contest, the children's carnival and, above all, the traditional Mardi Gras procession.
