BENOÎT DE PUYDT MUSEUM
Museum housing an important collection of art objects, witnesses of the Flemish culture in the and centuries.
The museum is located in the former house of Benoît de Puydt. It contains an important collection of works of art, witnesses of Flemish culture in the 15th and 19th centuries, which the clerk had accumulated throughout his life. In 1859, he bequeathed the house, which is now a museum. Among the works on display are paintings from the Flemish, French and Dutch schools. Also on display are collections of sculptures, furniture, silverware and ceramics, some of which come from as far away as China and Japan.
