The Bruegel is the pleasure of meeting with family or friends in a real estaminet installed in a building dating from 1597. As such, it is one of the oldest (if not the oldest) in Bergues! The exterior is as beautiful as the interior. The entrance is through a small door. The menu resounds with good products from the North and Flanders: Bergues cheese toast, waterzooï, pot'je vleesch, lamb mice with beer, chicken with maroilles, Flemish carbonade, Flemish rabbit, welsh... Regional aperitifs and local beers.

Dans ce cadre typique du Nord, cette taverne renoue avec les traditions, tenue d'époque, Cuisine au feu de bois, table en bois massif, le tout très joliment décoré.
Le repas est d'excellente qualité on on vous invite a déguster de nombreuses spécialité de la région . En plus le Plat du jour est a un prix très compétitif.
Incontournable si on veut conserver un souvenir de Bergues.
