SAINT WINOC ABBEY
Visit an old Benedictine abbey with remarkable towers in a green and serene setting in Bergues.
For more than a thousand years, the two towers of the Saint-Winoc abbey in Bergues have always stood the test of time! A truly majestic edifice built by the Counts of Flanders, the building gradually declined. The French Revolution destroyed a large part of this Benedictine abbey, leaving only its two towers almost intact: the square tower and the pointed tower. The atmosphere is no less exotic and conducive to relaxation, in this green and serene space. To be discovered!
