OSTREVANT MUSEUM
Museum housing rich collections, including statues from the 10th century and everyday objects from the early 20th century in Bouchain.
The museum is located in the Ostrevant tower, a listed historic monument. Built on the foundations of an ancient keep dating from the 12th century, the museum houses rich collections: 10th century statues from the church of Hordain, works of art from the former church of Bouchain destroyed during the Second World War, and a collection of objects relating to everyday life in the region at the beginning of the 20th century. In addition, the town of Bouchain has an important military past, which is recounted here through various objects and documents.
