Auberge de la Brique d'Or has the perfect place to spend a good time with family or friends. In winter, the good smell of a fireplace is comforting in this typically Flemish building with its golden bricks. We settle in this estaminet room nicely decorated with objects found at flea markets and with passion by the boss. We have fun reading the maxims on wine painted on the walls. When you look at the menu, you are certainly in Flanders: Flemish with maroilles, chicory terrine, Flemish carbonnade, chicken with beer, potjevleesch. To the menu are added suggestions that vary according to the seasons. The meal is accompanied by a good beer or wine directly selected by Betty the boss, distinguished by the title "Sommelier de France". In other words, she knows a lot about it. In summer, enjoy the terrace overlooking a 4 hectare plot of land overlooking the Flemish countryside. On weekends, a friendly atmosphere thanks to Bernard, the boss, who covers the classics of French song. A small candy shop will make you fall in love and you will taste your marshmallow with nostalgia as you leave this corner of the countryside.
