Built between 1880 and 1886, the Saint-Pierre de Bouvines church was classified as a historical monument in 2010. There are 21 stained glass windows representing the story of the battle of Bouvines, made by Emmanuel Champigneulle, combining shimmering colors and royal blue. The lower part of each window shows the coats of arms of the donors, who contributed to their financing. Nearby, other evidence of this historical past such as the Saint-Pierre fountain where Philippe-Auguste is said to have rested just before the battle.
