Restaurant with garden, ideal for a gourmet stopover in Brouckerque.
It's an inn that didn't usurp its name. Located in the middle of the countryside, in a restored old barn, Auberge du Snouk is a real stopover in the middle of the fields. For the short cultural break, snouk means pike in Flemish, a nod to the Colma that winds right in front of the establishment. In the middle of winter, come and warm up by the fire of this inn. Stone walls and exposed wooden beams punctuate the setting of this estaminet. You will taste real homemade Flemish dishes: chicken or filet mignon with marrow, marrow bones, Flemish carbonade or welsh. All this can be enjoyed with fries and, for beer lovers, a picon. There is also a choice of traditional recipes such as salmon steak with dill, lamb shank with thyme or fried prawns with garlic. On sunny days, the Auberge du Snouk takes out the cutlery on the terrace of the garden at the back of the establishment. The garden is closed, if you come with children, they will be safe. It should be noted that the hostel also has guest rooms (on reservation), ideal for a gourmet stopover in complete peace of mind.
