TOWN HALL
A magnificent town hall whose facade dominates the Grand Place de Cambrai, which was last renovated in 1932.
While visiting Cambrai, you will not fail to admire its superb town hall. Demolished, then rebuilt, then burned, the building found its current form only in 1932.
Its facade respects the old Louis XVI style peristyle facade designed by the architect Antoine. Its bell tower with columns is flanked by two bronze Jacquemarts from the 16th century representing Martin and Martine, famous protectors of the city well known to its inhabitants. Several frescoes decorate the very pretty wedding hall, which can be visited on request.
