Created in 1846, the Cambrai museum houses local and national collections gathered thanks to revolutionary seizures.
Created in 1846, the Musée de Cambrai houses collections gathered thanks to revolutionary seizures. It is housed in the Hôtel de Francqueville, a superb 18th-century mansion that has since been renovated and enlarged. You'll explore all its levels, from the basement where archaeology is highlighted (with some very astonishing skeletons) to the second floor where beautiful temporary exhibitions are organized. Open and accessible, this museum is well known to locals as a great family outing in Cambrai!
