Hotel-restaurant offering traditional cuisine and French dishes in Kassel.

Change of owners and name for the former hotel and restaurant Le Foch! Taken over by three local restaurants, L'Art Doize (its new name) offers, in addition to 6 comfortable rooms, a traditional cuisine, all in generosity with a touch of modernity all the same. On the menu, you will find both regional dishes such as potjvleesch, carbonnade or welsh, but also French dishes such as lamb mouse, a good piece from the butcher or fish. The dishes are fairly well presented and the staff friendly. On the decoration side, the frescoes on the walls bring a touch of originality (we understand better why the name L'Art Doize!). A beautiful address in Cassel!

Et une étoile c'est trop! Ne réservez surtout pas dans cet hôtel. Arrivés à 19h pour prendre nos 2 chambres réservées, personne à l'accueil, hôtel fermé. Par téléphone il nous est indiqué trois chambres : la première non faite (draps en vrac, salle de bain salle, pièce non aérée...), la seconde avec des petits lits et la troisième...déjà occupée! Les deux autres chambres de l'hôtel ne sont pas faites non plus ! Une collaboratrice arrive enfin après plus de 30mn pour soi disant faire les deux chambres en moins de 20mn... A 20h la première venait tout juste d'être commencée : pas pressée... Les chambres sont vieillottes et limite propres (confirmé par un client sortant). Pitoyable et indigne du métier d'hôtelier! Heureusement nous ne sommes pas restés et avons trouvé un gîte (alors qu'il était fermé, la propriétaire a ouvert spécialement pour nous) a proximité avec un niveau d'accueil et de propreté inégalable.

Hôtes très accueillant.es ! Les chambres sont propres et de qualités. Nous avons mangé au restaurant midi et soir, le service est efficace et rapide. Les plats sont servis généreusement et une option végétarienne est disponible !
