LE SAUVAGE
Local cuisine to enjoy in a restaurant with a panoramic view of Flanders.
Le Sauvage is one of the best addresses in Cassel. Sitting in the restaurant's panoramic room (80 seats), you can admire Flanders as far as the eye can see. That's no reason to fall asleep on your plate. The chef will bring you back down to earth with a few local specialities from his moustache. To start with, snails or homemade duck foie gras. Then it's the turn of the bone-in rib to delight your taste buds. Finally you can let yourself be tempted by the Houlle jenever sorbet. If you are not lucky enough to find a place in the panoramic room, you can still enjoy the huge wood fire purring at the back of the second room.
