This estaminet serves dishes typical of Northern gastronomy. The terrace with views over Flanders is a real treat.

In the heart of Flanders, on the inevitable cobbled square of Cassel, this restaurant welcomes you in a very successful estaminet atmosphere. The welcome is warm and friendly. When the weather is nice, the terrace in the back room offers a panoramic view on the surroundings. Typical northern dishes such as the Flemish carbonnade or the potjevleesch are served with a local beer. The desserts are also based on the specialties of the region. We particularly appreciated the crème brûlée with chicory, made with local cream.

Excellente découverte : plats typiques et savoureux. Accueil très chaleureux dans un cadre original caractéristique de la région. Personnel très agréable et serviable. Aucune fausse note sur les plats faits maison. Très bon souvenir de notre voyage dans le Nord. A refaire sans hésiter. Merci pour ce moment très agréable. La carbonade est une tuerie !!!!!! Et que dire des travers de porc!!!! Bravo

Déjeuner gourmand et goûteux. Flamiche au maroilles, carbonnade et bière bien conseillée, café. Malheureusement pas de dessert car repas copieux. Séverine est accueillante, super sympa, simple et très efficace pour le service. Merci Séverine pour votre gentillesse. On reviendra, promis.
